CIJ Signs MOU with Zambia’s Ministry of Labour and Social Security

Zambia - The Chandler Institute of Justice (CIJ) proudly announces the formalisation of a partnership with the Government of the Republic of Zambia, represented by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security. This collaboration was cemented through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
This partnership focuses on supporting labour law reforms, strengthening governance frameworks, and equipping stakeholders with the skills and tools needed to address Zambia’s evolving labour and social security challenges.
Through this initiative, CIJ and the Ministry are jointly committed to fostering a more inclusive and equitable labour system, ensuring that Zambia’s workforce is equipped to thrive in an ever-changing economic landscape.
"This MoU shall enhance public governance and legal frameworks through comprehensive reforms, build institutional capacity in order to achieve sustainable development objectives and promote knowledge sharing of local context and international best practice” said Mr. Zechariah Luhanga, Acting Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Social Security.
